Maps and AI API cost audit: find out why the bill is that high, and what to change

A Maps and AI cost audit reads your Google Maps and AI API bills and the code that makes the calls, and ranks every way to cut the spend by saving and effort. It takes five working days and costs ₹45,000 in India or $950 elsewhere. If we do not find at least three times the fee in yearly savings, the fee is refunded.

Is a Maps and AI cost audit right for you?

A good fit if

  • Delivery, mobility and logistics apps with a growing Google Maps bill
  • Products whose OpenAI or other AI API spend is rising faster than usage
  • Teams that want the fixes, not only a report

Not the right fit if

  • Your combined Maps and AI spend is under ₹40,000 or $500 a month — the fee can exceed a year's saving
  • You need a full cloud (AWS, GCP) cost review — we look at Maps and AI APIs and the code behind them
  • You cannot share read access to the code that makes the calls

What are the terms?

If the audit does not find savings worth at least 3× the fee over a year, we refund the fee. The guarantee applies when your Google Maps and AI spend is at least ₹40,000 or $500 a month.

Guarantee
At least 3× the fee in yearly savings found, or the fee is refunded (for spend of ₹40,000 / $500 a month or more).
Credit
The fee is credited to the implementation work if it starts within 60 days.
Access
Read-only billing exports and read-only code access. Nothing is changed during the audit.

Questions about a Maps and AI cost audit

Why does the API cost audit read our code and not only the bill?

The bill says which API is expensive; the code says why. On Pakka the cost came from a tracking bug that re-requested a route every ten seconds, which no billing report would show.

What counts towards the 3× savings guarantee?

Yearly savings from the fixes in the report, worked out from your own usage. If they total less than three times the audit fee, the fee is refunded. It applies when Maps and AI spend is at least ₹40,000 or $500 a month.

Do you cover OpenAI, Anthropic and Gemini costs?

Yes. We look at the model chosen for each call, prompt and image sizes, caching and batching, and whether a smaller model passes the same checks. On BogarInfra a four-model test picked the model per job.

Will the audit cut Google Maps costs without hurting the app?

Every fix in the report says what the user would notice, if anything. Most of the savings come from calls the user never sees, such as repeated route requests.

Can you implement the fixes the audit finds?

Yes, at a fixed price quoted in the report. The audit fee is credited if the work starts within 60 days.
