Overview

Overview

Maple Safe sells disinfection and sanitisation by electrostatic spraying for commercial, industrial, residential, vehicle and hospital spaces in towns around Toronto, from Mississauga and Brampton to Hamilton. The site dates from 2021 and leads with COVID-19 disinfection.

We built it as a single scrolling page in HTML, SASS and JavaScript, hosted on Netlify: a hero, an about section with service highlights, five service cards, a how-it-works strip, service-area tags, a photo gallery and a contact form, with the call and enquiry buttons fixed in the header. The footer credits Web Cannon-Z, CountryDevs' sister company; the site was built under that name.

The story in three steps

From the problem to what runs today

  1. 01 · Where it started

    The challenge

Disinfection is bought in a hurry and on trust. A building manager or a homeowner wants to know quickly what gets treated, whether the business covers their town and how to book. Maple Safe also served very different customers, from homes and offices to hospitals and school buses, and all of them had to find their case on one site.

  2. 02 · What we built

    The solution

We kept everything on one page so each of those questions is answered a scroll apart, with the call and enquiry buttons always in view. Each type of space has its own card, booking is reduced to three steps (call, choose a category, get the property treated), and the towns served are listed as tags rather than buried in a paragraph. On a phone the page reflows to a single column.

  3. 03 · Where it stands

    The impact

The site is still online at maplesafety.netlify.app. Its phone numbers, email and street address are placeholders rather than real business details, so we present it as a design and build sample, not as a lead source; we have no enquiry or traffic data for it.

FAQ

Questions about this project

What did the Maple Safe website need to show a disinfection customer?

What gets treated, where the business works and how to book: five service cards from homes to hospitals, 17 service areas around Toronto and a three-step booking explainer, all on one page with the call button always in view.

Why is the Maple Safe site presented as a build sample?

The site is online at maplesafety.netlify.app, but its contact details are placeholders, so we show it for its design and build rather than as a live lead source.

A homepage design we built for Jdee Media, a media transcription service: a large display-type hero, cards for transcription, captioning and translation, and a closing call-to-action band. It never went live with final content; much of the body copy is still placeholder text.
