A five-page website we built for Daniel Hahn, a turfgrass agronomist and applied scientist who advises golf courses: a photo-led home page, a career timeline, a publications list, an agronomy strategy page and a contact form.
Updated

Overview
Daniel Hahn is a former golf playing professional who went on to study turfgrass management and ecology, and now advises golf clubs on agronomy, runs applied research on courses and works on cutting pesticide use. His site has to establish that mix of playing, science and greenkeeping experience for golf clubs and federations.
We built it in HTML, SASS and JavaScript on Netlify, under his Turf Agronomy logo: a home page with a full-width course slider and his three services, a career page laid out as a timeline from 2008 to his own practice in 2021, a publications page, an agronomy strategy page and a contact page with a form. The footer credits Web Cannon-Z, CountryDevs' sister company; the site was built under that name.
The story in three steps
01 · Where it started
An independent agronomist sells expertise, not a product. Clubs and federations want to see where that expertise comes from, such as playing, study and greenkeeping on tournament courses, and what he has published, before they get in touch.
02 · What we built
We made the career page a vertical timeline, so the path from playing professional through his degrees and greenkeeping posts to his own practice reads in one scroll, with the logos of the colleges and employers beside the entries. Publications get their own page of article cards, and the agronomy page sets out his approach to greenkeeping, innovation, applied research and renovation. Course photography carries the design on every page.
03 · Where it stands
The site is online at daniel-golf.netlify.app. We have no enquiry or traffic figures for it and claim none.
