How much can I shrink a PDF?

Image-heavy PDFs typically shrink 40-80%. Text-only PDFs are already efficient and may only shave 5-15%.

Will compression ruin image quality?

Medium and high presets are visually indistinguishable in most cases. Use Low only for screen-only PDFs where size matters more than fidelity.

What's the maximum file size?

Free: 10 MB. Pro: 50 MB. Pro+: 100 MB. The compressed output is downloaded directly to your device.

Are my PDFs stored?

No. We process the file in memory and discard it the moment we return the compressed version. Nothing is logged or persisted.

Does it work on scanned PDFs?

Yes — scanned PDFs (which are essentially bundled JPEG/PNG pages) often benefit the most from compression.

Can I batch-compress many PDFs?

Not yet from the UI — but the API can be scripted on Pro+. Reach out if you need a bulk pipeline.
