How to generate a favicon

    Upload a source imageA square PNG or SVG at least 512×512 gives the best results. JPEG and WebP also work.

    Name your site (optional)Used in the generated site.webmanifest so "Add to home screen" shows the right name.

Frequently asked questions

What's in the ZIP?
favicon.ico (multi-res 16/32/48), PNG files at 16/32/48/64/128/180/192/256/512, apple-touch-icon.png, site.webmanifest (optional), and snippet.html with the <link> tags.
Do I need a square image?
Squares produce the cleanest icons. Non-square inputs are padded with transparency to a square canvas — so a landscape logo may look small inside the icon.
Does it support SVG input?
Yes. SVGs are rasterized at each output size for maximum sharpness.
Is my image stored?
No. Processing happens in memory and the file is discarded after the ZIP is sent. Nothing is persisted.
Max file size?
5 MB by default. Admin can tune that live from the config panel.
